McCAIN’S VP CHOICE: SARAH PALIN
POSTED BY BEVERLEE, Friday, August 29, 2008
As usual, it was my husband, (a TV viewer), who first learned the news and informed me (an Internet surfer) that John McCain has chosen a woman—Alaska Governor Sarah Palin—as his Vice Presidential running mate. This information naturally propelled me into an immediate pursuit of Governor Palin’s birth data. The lady, described as a maverick (as is her running mate McCain) is, not surprisingly, an Aquarian, with five planets in Aquarius! Yes, I would describe her as a maverick, entirely worthy of Fox News correspondent Karl Rove’s description of her as a “gun-toting, hockey-playing woman”!
More interesting astrologically, however, is the fact that Governor Palin has the fateful “finger of God” aspect in her birthchart—the yod. This pattern indicates strong destiny at work. The life of a person with this aspect in her chart seems particularly fated, and her destiny is activated by the prevailing transits of the moment. It is perhaps the most complex planetary pattern to decipher, but one of the most fascinating.
A Yod is formed when there is a 60-degree angle between two planets with a third planet 150-degrees away from both of them. In Palin’s chart expansive Jupiter is inconjunct (at a 150 degree angle) from both Neptune and Pluto.
The Y-shape of this aspect declares that the person will experience numerous forks in the road as she travels through life and also, that she has 'contracted' to carry out a special mission according to her abilities. Therefore, the bottom line significance of the Yod is "Destiny at Work."
I mention all this about Sarah Palin’s yod formation because her Neptune exactly conjoins John McCain’s Progressed Sun at 17 degrees of Scorpio, and exactly trines Chiron in McCain’s current Solar Return (Chiron represents healing). Also, Jupiter, the focal point of Palin’s yod, happily falls in the Tenth House of Destiny in McCain’s current Solar Return—clearly indicating that she enhances his reputation.
These cross-chart configurations, as you recall from my previous blogs, confirm the idea that these two were destined to come together precisely at the time they take place. Furthermore, comparing their two natal charts, we find Sarah Palin’s first degree Moon and Mercury in Aquarius conjoining McCain’s last degree Capricorn Moon. They are emotionally and intellectually attuned.
In addition, Governor Palin’s natal Uranus (the ruler of her five planets in quixotic/humanitarian Aquarius) falls on Senator McCain’s Tenth House Sun in Virgo. This is an exciting picture of her breakthrough in being the first Republican woman chosen as a Vice-Presidential candidate in American history. And that’s not all: her natal Pluto (destiny, power) also falls on McCain’s Tenth House Neptune (ideals, inspiration). Meanwhile, her natal Neptune falls on his Ascendant. There is a lot of inspirational connection between these two candidates.
How apropos that Senator McCain should introduce his running mate, Governor Palin, as someone who can “shake up” Washington! That’s what Uranus-ruled Aquarians are born to do! At the moment of her introduction as Senator McCain's running mate, the Moon at 22 degrees of Leo exactly opposed Sarah Palin's Aquarius Sun at 22 degrees of Aquarius. This represents her personal Full Moon phase when I'm always reminding you, everything comes to light. With regard to my Tarot Age Theory, Senator McCain, on his 72nd birthday today, is described by the Tarot Card the Moon—which represents following one's instincts. Governor Palin, at age 44, is described by the Tarot card Justice—rewards for one's efforts.
Poetry, my friends, Astrology is poetry!
BEAUTY, LOVE, FRIENDSHIP
POSTED BY BEVERLEE, Monday, August 25, 2008
Over the weekend I posted a beautiful blessing— “Beannacht”—the Celtic word for blessing—by Irish poet/philosopher John O’Donohue. On Sunday I returned to the website where that blessing is presented to listen to Krista Tippet’s National Public Radio interview with O’Donohue taped a few months before his untimely death last January at the age of 52.
As I listened to the beautiful discussion between Krista and John I was magically transported into the world of ideas for which I so hunger. O’Donohue spoke, among other things, of beauty, love and friendship in a manner which reminded me of Doctor Albert Schweitzer’s “reverence for life”, and the teachings of Vietnamese Zen Buddhist monk, teacher, author, and poet Thich Nhat Hanh.
All my life I have cared most for ideas—and perhaps because I have neither the gift nor the ability to present ideas as eloquently as I might wish, I have always sought out these gifts and abilities in others. While I have spent a great deal of time in solitude, simply absorbing the beauty of others’ ideas, I have observed with wonder persons who appear to be on a constant quest for “busyness”, filling up their lives by running hither, thither and yon, searching for I know not what. I have often privately wondered how they ever find time to simply bask in their own God-given “beingness”.
In fact, noticing that my young grandchildren have been caught up in this time-consuming merry-go-round of activity, my husband and I attempt to give them a break from this “busyness” syndrome, by just letting them “be”. Some of our happiest times have been those when our grandson Ian spends the night with us and we go out on the deck to enjoy the simple pleasure of watching the magical and beautiful rising of the Full Moon. My heart rejoices to observe how Ian delights in and looks forward to this ritual.
You see, the art of beingness, for lack of a better word, is precisely what John O’Donohue was addressing in this awe-inspiring interview. He speaks eloquently of “presence”, and “landscape” in the broadest terms. In fact he advises a friend who was lost to simply arise each morning and watch the sun rise. When she did this, she “found” herself again. I can attest to the magic of that therapy!
I cherished O'Donohue's comment that “music is what language would love to be if it could!” And I resonated to his assertion that friends are the family we choose for ourselves. So often I have “adopted” beloved friends into my family!
Speaking of hunger, as I did above, I do have to confess, however, that midway through this two-hour unedited interview, I experienced all-too-real pangs of actual hunger. Since it was Noontime, I simply paused the interview, went into the kitchen to fix myself lunch and brought it back to my office to resume listening to the thrilling exchange of ideas. It was an odd but amusing experience to suddenly feel that it was almost a sacrilege to be eating—or doing anything else—while listening to John O’Donohue!
So, if you do choose to listen to this soul-confirming interview, I suggest you set aside a time to simply listen, and bask in the magically healing gestalt therapy of “beingness”.
A BEAUTIFUL BLESSING

IT’S DÉJÀ VU ALL OVER AGAIN!
POSTED BY BEVERLEE, Sunday, August 10, 2008
Hmmm, now let me think. Where have we seen this scenario before? Oh, now I remember! Anna Nicole Smith has a baby and will not permit DNA testing to determine the identity of the father. Howard K. Sterne claims Anna Nicole’s baby Dannielynn is his. Larry Birkhead claims he is Dannielynn’s father. After comparing Danielynn’s chart with that of both men, I state categorically that, based on astrological principles, Larry Birkhead is the father. Ultimately, after Anna Nicole Smith’s death, DNA evidence is submitted to the court, and Larry Birkhead is proved to be Dannielynn’s father.
Yes, Yogi Berra, it is, indeed, déjà vu all over again, only now we have former Senator and two-time presidential candidate John Edwards, although belatedly confessing that he did have an affair with Rielle Hunter, denying categorically that he is the father of six-month-old Frances Quinn Hunter, his ex-mistress’s child. Meanwhile, a campaign aide, Andrew Young, claims that he, not Edwards, is the child's father, and Rielle Hunter, in response to Edwards’ offer to have a DNA test to disprove his paternity, says that she will not be party to a DNA test "now or in the future.”
Friends, are we watching “Groundhog Day” or what? No, it’s back to the astrology charts we must go. Follow me. If John Edwards is not the father of that baby I will volunteer to go on “The View” and eat his astrological chart! Here’s why:
John Edwards is a Gemini—perhaps my favorite sign of the zodiac; moreover, his Moon is also in Gemini. He was born during the Balsamic Phase of the Moon, which means that in his lifetime he will have to say goodbye to many people for whom he cares deeply. Furthermore, Gemini Moons, even more than Gemini Suns, will say, without hesitation, whatever is expedient at the moment. This is an inborn characteristic that serves lawyers and politicians well, as we have surely witnessed throughout Edwards’ career.
But why do I say I believe Edwards is the father of Hunter’s child?
Well, let’s compare his chart with that of Rielle Hunter. An Aries (with her Sun at the 00 Aries point of fame!), as luck would have it (for Edwards!), Hunter also has her Moon in Gemini. Assuredly, they are a match for one another insofar as um, telling the truth is concerned.
More to the point, however, Hunter’s Moon (emotions) conjoins Edwards’ Mars (sex drive). This exhilarating combination heralded a huge impetus to his sex drive, folks, when she appeared on his horizon. Furthermore, her Mars conjoins his Midheaven and her stellium in Aries (Sun, Mercury and Jupiter) fall in his Tenth House. This combination proved a blessing to him; it enabled her to promote him as she made campaign videos for him. Now, however, the party is over, and the stellium remains in his house of reputation, where it is having an opposite effect—wreaking havoc.
Now let’s examine the baby’s chart and its connections with Edwards’: Interestingly, the baby has Jupiter in Edwards’ Seventh house, a planetary configuration exactly like Dannielynn and Larry Birkhead’s. I can’t positively assert what that says about Edwards’ possible paternity; I just find it an interesting parallel between the charts of these two bizarre and highly publicized cases.
Actually, the children’s’ Jupiters in their respective father’s charts should predict warm sharing one-on-one relationships. We’ve already seen this evince itself in the bachelor Larry Birkhead’s case. It remains to be seen how or whether it will ever manifest in John Edwards’ case. Only the National Enquirer knows what's going on behind the scenes, since they have a picture of Edwards' holding a baby which Edwards says he has no recollection of, and doesn't "even know who those people are." Uh huh.
More telling, though, is the fact that baby Frances’s Scorpio Moon falls in John Edwards’ Fifth House of children (and love affairs!). The Moon is in its fall in the sign of Scorpio; this planet that represents the mother is not a happy Moon, my friends, and in baby Frances’s case we can certainly see why: born to an unwed mother, who is denying her paternity. It’s a sad situation for the child.
We find the baby’s Saturn posited in Edwards’ Second House of values and personal resources. I believe, despite what is being wildly bandied about in the press as truth, that Edwards did pay Rielle to cover up the story of their affair and his fathering her child. At the very least, it appears, with Frances’s Saturn occupying his house of resources that some money is exchanging hands, albeit with reluctance on his part.
Not only that: the August 1st Solar Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo also fell in John Edwards’ Second House of resources, feelings of self worth, and values, and it exactly squared the cusp of his Fifth House (children, love affairs, gambling). Remember my saying that, numerologically, the number nine represents endings? Edwards’ silence about the affair and his possible paternity ended—summoned forth by the energy of that dramatic Leo Solar Eclipse.
An even more compelling connection across the three charts is the baby’s Mars conjoining Edwards’ Mars within a degree and exactly conjuncting her mother’s Moon. Trust me: there’s a lot of contention portrayed by that lineup.
When baby Frances was born last February Pluto had just tiptoed into Capricorn and it exactly squared (challenged) her mother—Rielly’s—Aries Sun (essence of her being and the pioneer). I’d say that square triggered some big time transformation. At the same time—at baby Frances’s birth, Saturn, the tester of integrity, was squaring John Edwards’ Moon (women, emotions). These two—Saturn and Pluto—are the big guns in astrology, testing and transforming us.
Doubt that John Edwards is the father of Frances Quinn Hunter, if you will. I may not eat John Edwards’ astrological chart on “The View”, my dears, but I’ll stake my reputation as an astrologer on this premise: Saturn and Pluto always bring us exactly what we have earned!
TAROT AND THE SUBCONSCIOUS (COLOR ME “JUICY”!)
POSTED BY BEVERLEE, Wednesday, August 06, 2008
As I’ve stated on my Oracle Page, the answers we receive from any divination source—such as the Tarot, the I Ching, or Runes—are but reflections of our inner truth, (AKA the subconscious). Evidence of this was brought home to me last evening when I drew a card from the Osho Zen Tarot—the current favorite among
my multitude of Tarot decks! You will see why shortly.
I draw one card each evening at bedtime, simply for its acknowledgement and reflection of the gifts the day has presented me. As you may already know from my previous blogs, recently my days have consisted of creating and sharing an interesting new theory—Beverlee’s Words/Numbers Analysis.
With that in mind, you will not be surprised to learn that the card I drew last evening was the Nine of Rainbows—“Ripeness”—equivalent to the Nine of Pentacles in the Rider-Waite deck or the Nine of Disks in the Crowley deck.
Here is the commentary for this card “Ripeness”:
“….when this card appears in a reading it indicates that you are
ready to share your inner riches, your “juice”. All you need to do is
relax right where you are, and be willing for it to happen. This sharing
of yourself, this expression of your creativity can come in many ways—
in your work, your relationships, your everyday life experiences. No special preparation or effort on your part is required. It is simply the right time.”
Thank you, Osho! Color me “Juicy”! Explore the marvelous world of the Osho Zen Tarot.
THOUGHTS ABOUT THE SUBCONSCIOUS
POSTED BY BEVERLEE, Tuesday, August 5, 2008
I’d like to share with you some enlightening thoughts about the subconscious that I have received from my metaphysical friend, Bill:
The subconscious mind is the recording place for everything that we have ever perceived. It is indelible and can be brought up, through hypnosis. When the hypnotist puts the conscious mind to sleep and commands the subconscious mind to reveal all that has ever been perceived, we get into past lives. I have practiced this since 1958. It really works.
I have used to for healings: for stimulating students to attain better grades, for football teams, a pro golfer to get a lower score. It really works. Usually about 80% of participants will submit to hypnosis. Others will, too, once you can determine the fear that is blocking them from allowing this control. Trust has a lot to do with it.
As you know, I used to do past life regressions, and researched where the subject had lived in former lives and found some of them most accurate, when the records were dug up for that area, in that time.
So, yes, the subconscious mind records all and can reveal all.
When I taught the Ancient Mysteries at the local Masonic Lodge, I explored how the early Masons, who built King Solomon's Temple, got the knowledge to build a God-like superstructure, which wowed everyone for miles around. They said, "It cannot have been built by man, so it must be God's hands that built this edifice rising up out of the desert, when all they knew then was mud huts and grass roofs.
The subconscious mind is the transmitter to the Universal Intelligence, and it reveals all.
After I had thoughtfully considered this gratifying feedback from Bill about the subconscious mind, and how it can be reached through hypnosis, what he said triggered a chord of recognition—a new impression within me.
If I—and others—who are participating in my newly launched Words/Numbers Analysis, are experiencing direct contact with our subconscious minds through this novel Words/Numbers association technique, then perhaps it may be construed as a form of self-hypnosis?
In any case, thus far, the technique has proved a stimulating path to pursue, and I look forward to hearing from others about its effects upon their understanding of their present circumstances as they delve into their subconscious. The technique has been designed specifically for the purpose of grasping what is going on deep within each of us, which we may not have been aware of prior to this experiment.

Isn’t it lovely how the Universe reaches out to support us and validate our aspirations time and again? Here I am, excitedly immersed in the process of introducing a new service—the Words/Numbers Analysis, designed to connect us to our unconscious Mind, and what happens?
Well, let me tell you what happens. I have a box of Aha! Cards from which I like to draw one every morning for its positive message. Today the card I drew is a quote by Leland Cooley:
“Your subconscious mind never wanders; it always pays attention.
It is always ready to make happen in your life those things—positive and negative—that you are imagining.”
Thank you, Universe. I love you!
Oh, and speaking of validation, here's the response I received from one of the first to experience my original Words/Numbers Analysis, and thus peer surreptitiously into the hidden recesses of her subconscious mind:
"Thank you for inviting and allowing me to play with you and your incredibly exciting work. I am so stoked that you have discovered a tool that advances the Planet! I was astounded when I got all those 11's! SWEET!!! Oh my GOSH! I am so blown away by this Analysis! I have literally underlined just about the WHOLE thing. You have hit upon a miracle!"
How sweet it is—for thee, and for me!
CONFIRMATION IS ALWAYS WELCOME!

When I go online I almost always visit the Daily Motivator website for its inspirational message. Yesterday, after I had produced my first Words/Numbers Analysis for a friend and client, I happened (Oh, really?) to click on Daily Motivator and this is the message I received:
"There is something good and worthy within you that is ready and waiting to be expressed. Give it life! Make it happen. What could possibly constitute a better use of your time and energy than to manifest that excellence which yearns in you?
Bring into being those things which already exist in your imagination. Share your special possibilities with the world. Untold beauty and excellence are waiting for the power of your actions.
What is the best possible world you can imagine? What can you do to make it so? There is much you can do this very day. Your dreams are not trivial. They are your gift and your obligation. Treat them with respect. Give them the attention they deserve.
Be the very best you can imagine. Make a difference that is uniquely yours. Let the best of you come out. You are destined to express life in ways that no one else can. Live it and let it flow with you."
Those words seemed such an awesome confirmation of where I am right now with regard to my newly launched Words/Numbers Analysis that it actually brought tears to my eyes! The Universe really does work in wondrous ways!
CONVERSATION WITH ASTROLOGER SYDNEY OMARR
POSTED BY BEVERLEE, August 1, 2008
Oh! Sydney—world-famous and dear departed astrologer, thou should’st be living in this hour! We need to talk. If you are looking down from heaven you probably know that I have been using your Thought Dial to answer my questions and have enjoyed great success receiving answers with the technique you devised combining astrology and numerology. In my experience your theory of receiving truth from our subconscious through the use of numbers is remarkably accurate.
But truth to tell, you offered so much information in your small book—Thought Dial—that I have only recently studied the chapter entitled “A New Dimension”, beginning on page 124, wherein you described the fascinating experience of a Los Angeles psychiatrist who pronounced: “Sydney Omarr’s instantaneous number selection is a valid personality test. It enables the person to bypass the conscious mind and get to the subconscious mind where authentic information is stored.”
You created a test for one of the doctor’s patients, who was given a series of words and instructed to randomly choose three numbers inspired by each of the words. The subject had no idea what the words and numbers would reveal about him; miraculously, however, they told his entire story at that particular time! Using your Thought Dial technique—spontaneously choosing numbers triggered by words—cut to the chase, enabling the psychiatrist to peer into his patient’s subconscious in a remarkably short time.
Well! After reading that, I had a brainstorm, “Hmmm,” I thought, “why couldn’t I create a similar test, substituting words based on well-known astrological principles? This should tell me the story of anyone taking the test.”
So, of course, I immediately designed a test and took it myself. Sydney! The results were phenomenal, accurately mirroring what is going on in my life. I don’t understand exactly how the numbers work their magic of extracting the truth from the subconscious, but I can attest that they do it with a thrilling degree of accuracy.
For example, the three random numbers I chose prior to looking at the list of words—an indicator of the present state of my subconscious, before taking the actual test—were 14, 18 and 19. Added together, these numbers total 51. Reducing this total to a single digit, I got 6. In your book you say: “Often when a subject dials a total of six he is thinking of a change in the home.”
I was amazed by the incredible accuracy of arriving at this number seemingly at random, since I am, indeed, in the process of making several changes in my home. Even more astonishing, the August 1st Solar Eclipse falls in my natal fourth house—symbolizing the home and creating a turning point in that compartment of my life! So my Word/Number Analysis proved its validity in an expanded astrological sense, coinciding perfectly with the Eclipse energy and its dictates with reference to my personal birthchart.
Furthermore, my Words/Numbers Analysis, based on spontaneously selecting three numbers inspired by each of twenty-four astrologically symbolic words, proved equally remarkable, and “spot on” with regard to who I am at this stage of my development, as well as who I am in the process of becoming. It was exciting confronting my subconscious!
Naturally, I was thrilled with this first test-drive of my theory, based on your TD book, Sydney, and I wondered why you hadn’t introduced this technique to other astrologers yourself? I know you explored many paths to enlightenment with your TD technique and encouraged others to experiment with it, too.
So I felt sure you would be pleased to know that I am venturing on a new path which expands your groundbreaking work of developing the idea of numbers revealing our subconscious thoughts. Thank you, Sydney!
Oh! Hi there, folks! Have you been eavesdropping on my conversation with Sydney? It’s all right. Stick around, because I am eager to share this phenomenal theory with anyone who wishes to participate in my “Words/Numbers Analysis”. I completely agree with what the psychiatrist said about its being a valid personality test. But more important, just as I hoped, this Words/Numbers Analysis aligns perfectly with astrological principles.
To learn much more about my Words/Numbers Analysis, adapted from a theory of astrologer/numerologist Syndey Omarr, click here.
Oh, one more thing: After writing the foregoing, and realizing that Sydney Omarr was a Leo, I looked at his chart to see whether there were any “cosmic connections” between it and my sudden inspiration to experiment with his TD theory. Guess what? Today’s Solar Eclipse at 9 degrees of Leo falls within three degrees of his natal Leo Sun, and Mercury, at 12 degrees of Leo, the ruler of this Eclipse, (and the fellow celebrated for making “connections”), falls exactly on Sydney’s Sun! I’d say that qualifies as a “cosmic connection”, wouldn’t you?
